I have been a big fan of the book and watched the movie for the heck of it and I’ve got to say, that was one hell of a movie to watch. I was nearly on the edge of my seat when watching My Sister’s Keeper. I knew about the story plot and everything, but never did I anticipate me getting teary at the end. The movie is a simply must see movie. For those you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend watching it at http://tr.im/mysisters

Small update: One of the novellas I finished during sweat 70 was picked up by Loose Id! Keeping my fingers crossed for the second story (different publisher).

I didn’t do as well as I could have, but I did better than if I’d just slogged away on my own, so I’m grateful for the encouragement - or reading other’s e-mails and the inspirational posts that people have put up. I’m looking forward to round 2! (If at first you don’t succeed and all that!)

A tiny update, a small thing…. the short story I wrote for the challenge sold to Drollerie Press. (Okay, I’m actually completely freaking out and telling everyone I now and posting all over the interwebs in an obxious manner, but whatever. It’s my first fiction sale, I’m allowed.) And I couldn’t have done it without Sven!
