I kind of lost it somewhere in the middle because of personal stuff - but for the past three weeks I've been working like a demon, writing every night and getting a lot done. So I'm very pleased with how things have gone recently.

And I'm definitely in on the next round. Barring any horrible unplanned stuff that life's got coming my way.

Thanks so much for sponsoring this group feed. I didn't quite hit my stated goal but am very satisfied with the progress I made. Oh and, just so you know, Sven is staying at my house tonight. :-)

Thanks to all for sponsoring the challenge. I just finished blogging my final Sven Report. I completed 52,658 of 60K, leaving 7,342 to go. I'm heading to the finish with Conn, my regular mat master.

It's been fun, and I really appreciate the time and effort you, the sponsors, put into this challenge.

Much cheer.

Final word count: 121,160

Best of all, last night we finished the two outstanding novella we needed to get done. Somehow we made it through our writing goals and all the crazy editing and revisions. Life is looking a lot nicer on this side of the challenge. Thanks for hosting it!

I did it! I met my goal and wrote my first YA from start to finish (plus a couple of synopses, bringing my total word count to 70000). Thanks so much for the challenge! The check-in's really helped me stay motivated, and I appreciated the daily encouragement. Best of luck to everyone!

I finished but found myself pulled ninety ways during the last few months. I was glad to have Sven as a way to get myself to write when i just wanted to go to sleep. Because I did it, I ended up with a new idea and even more lovely, that idea sold. Now I have to write it!

I didn't finish but it did make me disciplined about writing regularly so that's great. I also loved the quotes and posts here - thanks for running the challenge.

I wound up having to use Sven to induce me to finish creating the new class I'm teaching this semester rather than as a fiction coach. But the good news is that except for the last few lectures I need to record, all the rest is done. I've also got reams of notes for my next WIP, so... when's the next round? Wink wink.
