After a mixed week, I’ve actually done well today and finished a short that I’d been a bit unsure of, in a 1.5K word spurt. :)

  2. Margay Leah Justice Says:

I’ve had mixed results with this challenge. I started out cranking out some good totals on a book I started, then had some issues (personal and professional) that distracted me from writing that book. And by the time I got back into the swing of writing again, it was with a totally different book! I just started writing it 8 days ago and have already totaled more than 26,000 words on it! And I haven’t even really begum to work on it today, so that total should go up some.

  4. Mimerki Says:

I just finished! Like, really, just! I swear, I am usually more coherent, but just. Finished!
    *does a little happy dance*

  5. Lauren Dane Says:

I finished my words last week (87K) and now I’m back in copy edit land with first round edits on another project just arrived and two new projects to work on so I’m busy busy.

It’s funny, I kept thinking I was nowhere near getting my words done this challenge because of all the different things I kept getting hit with (copy edits twice, final pass pages twice, AAs, multiple partials, etc) but when I added it all up on Wednesday I realized how far I’d gotten and it made me happy. At the same time, wow, have I felt scattered!

  6. Kimatha Says:

    WIP: 93,170
    Sven: 82,670
    Since last Sunday: 7921

    Almost done!

  7. Kim Knox Says:

I’ve lost all count - and internet for 16 days!! - so I don’t know what my tally is.

I’ve probably written about 5k this week, which is cool as I’m convalescing on the couch after surgery.

Hopefully, I’ll get my numbers sorted for the next check-in :)

  8. Nicole Gestalt Says:

I have to be honest and say I’m not sure how much I’ve got written. However I have had great success with this challenge and it has kept me writing as such I’m actually ahead of my deadlines (something that only happens very rarely).

I hope everyone has been writing! :)

  9. Anna Adams Says:

I haven’t checked in this time around as I’d meant to, but I have been writing. As of today, I’ve written 60,132 during the challenge. It’s on several different projects, and I’m not where I want to be yet, but Sven’s been in the back of my mind–prompting.

    Thanks!

  10. Sandie Hudson Says:

Novella is moving along at lasy, I managed over 5K since Wednesday which is the best I’ve done in ages. I’m now just over the 10k for this one, got no editing done at all. I need another 10k by the end of the month, if I can do it by end of this challenge I’ll be happier.

    Happy writing.

  11. Robin Says:

Even with a crazy week, I wrote 6400 words, bringing my Sven total to 63000. I’m super happy! And I’m thisclose to finishing my YA! Thanks, Sven, for being a great motivator.

  12. Dita Says:

I’ve been picking up on some reading and my favorite waste of time, cinema. And crying the Amazon over both. Must calm down to get more writing done than last week, i.e. some 4K, to end this challenge on a high note.

  13. Jaci Says:

I think y’all are doing great!

I started a new novella this week and wrote 10k on that. Added to the 53K on the book I wrote when Sven started, so 63K in total. I’m really happy with that production given that I had to do galleys and copyedits and the dreaded holidays in the midst of it all. Woo hoo for Sven!

  14. Elle Amery Says:

Whew! I finished the book on Thursday and submitted it to my editor. It ended up at 50k, about 10k more than I’d anticipated. I’m happy with the results! I’m exhausted, though. Thanks, Sven!

  15. Cassie Says:

    1789 since last check-in
    Total Sven count = 46,372
    Total word count = 61,220/75,000

Now it’s time to buckle down. LOL

Kudos to those that have reached their goal!

  16. Amanda Says:

Typically I’m really good about staying on top of Sven :) , but I’ve missed a lot of check ins this round. I’m working on my revisions. They are going very slowly.

Anyone could kindly help me to remove the virus I infected from googleanalytics.net? When I first came across your site I thought the virus is yours because of the pop up. Nah, I know that’s not yours but if anyone can provide me a solution I will thanks him millions time.
