5,500 words for me this week. I’m about 3/4 of the way done with the WIP I started the first day of Sven, so I feel confident I’ll finish by Jan 26th. Now that the holidays are behind us I have no excuse. Happy New Year!
All 15 of my lectures are written and in powerpoint, all chapter quizzes banks uploaded, the syllabus written, the syllabus quiz written and uploaded…All that remains is for me to get my lectures recorded in Camtasia and set course announcements. The irony…about the time the Sweat ends will be the time I finish with this class setup and can finally get back to fiction!
Slow, but forward motion. 3,301 on a short story since Wednesday, and I’m hoping to get more done on this (maybe even finish it) tonight. I’m only aiming for 6K.
Then it’s back to the Georgian historical!
With everything that’s happened, I guess it’s just been bad timing all round. Seem to be coming out the other side of it now though. So hopefully even though I didn’t manage to get what I wanted done this time. Next time I’ll do better.
I completely forgot to check in - my husband and I did a low-technology, stay-in vacation over New Year’s so I’m out of sorts with my routines and whatnot. (It was great though!)
I finished my novel on Dec. 30 at ~80k, which means I wrote…58k for the Sven challenge. Can I round up? *G* I don’t think I’ll be starting the draft of my next project before the 10th!

I need to make time to write. Too many long hours at work isn’t conducive to writing. Enough with the excuses. Must write more this week.
