I’ve written 2015 so far this week, which saw me getting a wip finished and subbed last night and a few words on a wip I’d *like* to get finished before I go into hospital next week.

I am down to my last 3 lectures to write for my class. Still all the quizzes and tests to write and the syllabus and discussion board questions and announcements….but I will finish those last 3 lectures today. On the writing front, I’ve been on a plotting kick. My crit partner and I have been doing some character interviews. She’s pretending to be a ghostwriter chronicling my hero’s rise to power in his pack and interviewing me (as those characters specifically). I’m playing therapist to hers. It’s been an interesting and educational exercise.

At 33,900 I finished my first draft or as I like to call it my long outline. Yay!!!!

I’ve gotten 6k done since Sunday and I’m at about 65k total for the challenge. I’ll get it done.

I finally broke down and read 2 books. Cindy Gerard’s “Whisper No Lies” and Jeaniene Frost’s “At Grave’s End.” Both excellent books. Bones… omg… I love him. It’s been almost 2 months since I’ve read; right before NaNo. Yeah, cold turkey after reading about 3-5 novels per week is a killer.

2K to report along with some backtracking after the WIP developed whooping cough and was diagnosed with the latest chapters suffering severely from something I had done in the first.

Current word count at 16k - forgot where I was at last time I posted, but got about 5k in between yesterday and today. Need to write more! More! More!

definitely hard to stay on track… I managed the first six pages, but now I’m two days behind… if I catch up today, I should be ready for beta readers by 1 February!

Ack, I’m a dead loss on this challenge. I’m doing bits and pieces here and there, but I’m not consistent. I must improve in 2009.
