March 9 - Sunday Check-In

So, you’ve had a week now to get into the zone. How’s it going? Are you hitting those targets? Or still struggling to maintain your momentum?

Time to compare notes.

  1. Diane J Standiford Says:

I am doing it, but out of all you writers, not one has written non-fiction?!
Now I’m feeling super lonely. I should hire an ATTY? No advice here? Seriously? I feel I have a hot as H story here. I’m sweating here. I want writer’s advice, not attys., let my publisher deal with attys., isn’t that how it works? Somebody, throw me some water!

  2. Cynthia Says:

I’m not hitting my daily target yet, but I’m writing. I’ve written 2457 words this week and for as much as I’d like to keep writing (my characters won’t stop talking) I can’t keep my eyes open so let’s hope they’ll still be chatty in the am. I really need for daylight savings time to NOT kick my butt this year.

  3. Angelle Trieste Says:

Revised three more chapters since Wed. :)

  4. Thomma Lyn Says:

I’m doing very well — I’ve cracked 16,000 words! I’m averaging almost 1,800 words a day, well above my target minimum of 1,300. :)

  5. Saskia Walker Says:

Coming in just under my daily targets, but I’m hoping to push up the pace a tad this week. Going good though.

Good luck to everyone for the week ahead!

  6. Portia Da Costa Says:

Oh God, I’m not doing as well as I’d hoped. Another day without actually adding any words yesterday, although I did manage to work through some ideas in my head for another novella, or maybe even a group of linked novellas.

Friday was good though… did 1.8K

I’m still faffing about far too much.

  7. Portia Da Costa Says:

Yikes, Saskia, were were commenting simultaneously!!! How freaky is that?

  8. Margay Says:

I’m not doing so well this week I’m having a lot of personal challenges this week that have taken precedence over my writing but I think I’ve gotten them under control now and can now concentrate on ordering the chaos in my brain into some semblance of a book on paper!

  9. S.J.Bell Says:

The snowstorm yesterday helped me to catch up as I wasn’t about to venture outside. So far I have 8000 wds, so I just need to write today to stay on track. But it’s been tough and I’m not sure I can keep up this pace without some editing on these first chapters, and to wash a dish. This morning I ate my cereal out of a cottage cheese container, and this is only week one!

  10. Amie Stuart Says:

Without going back to look at my blog I wrote a page Monday(?) and 19 yesterday…which made up for the rest of the really bad week! Hopefully next week will be better!

Portia…me too!! I’m assuming faffing means um not writing :) I did realize I haven’t taken my thyroid pills in like two week (yes i’m taking them LOL). I think that mattered…..lame maybe but there you go.

  11. Jaci Burton Says:

12,000 words this week, so I pushed past my weekly goal, which I really need to do because I’d like to finish this book before the end of the month, spend a week editing it, then dive into the next one by the first of April (ya’ll should see my deadlines…eek!).

Keep plugging away. If you didn’t do as well this first week, you’ll pick up the pace later on. Don’t give up!

  12. Larissa Ione Says:

    I suck. 2300 words.

Diane, I’ve written non-fiction, mainly articles, so never had to deal with legalities. Though I am working on a screenplay based on real events in a real person’s life, and even though I’m changing names, a lawyer did advise me to get his permission simply to ease the minds of any agents/studio executives/whatever. But that’s also because the story is about him…it’s not an event I lived through or witnessed.

Don’t know if that helps or not. You might check out Writer’s Digest books…they have some amazingly great writing sources on all topics, and you can probably find something to help you out with your question!

  13. Mechele Armstrong Says:

Had a really busy week so didn’t write a couple of days but made up for it the days I did write.

1500 words today! And 11500 total since I started sweating. I’m happy. Completed one project and started another.

  14. Nicole Reising Says:

I’m doing it! I go up and down in my count, but I’m getting it done and loving the story as it evolves. How fun is that?! It seems I go forward 1-2,000 words a day maybe even more, then edit as I need to mentally and cut, delete, add… and so forth. The main thing is I make sure at the end of each day I’m at the right number for word count on my ms, so I know I’m moving forward! Total so far since day one in count on my ms is 9,000 new words(obviously many more but those don’t get to be counted per say as they are get evened out with the editing).

    Happy writing everyone!
    Cole

  15. Anne Douglas Says:

errr… not so great. But on the flip side, the few thousand words I did write were many more than the no words the weeks before. lol!

  16. Alexa Silver Says:

My co-author and I have put down 20,089 in the last 8 days. My portion of that was probably 10,000 or thereabouts. Today is family time, so our progress might be a bit slower.

  17. Lauren Dane Says:

11,500 words this week, I’m about 3K away from finishing this novella - yay! The flu slowed me down earlier in the week but later on, I hit that sweet spot and caught up.

All this is good because I got my revision letter so I need to do revisions (thankfully pretty darned light) and then get started on my next project. Thank goodness for Sven, LOL!!

  18. Cat Kane Says:

I’m very far behind where I wanted to be by this point, with just under 4000 words done this week (including notes and revisions). Ideally I’d have liked to be closer to 10k by now.

Hopefully I can add some more to my total so far during the rest of Sunday and catch up a bit!!

  19. Heather Harper Says:

I’m behind, but the husband left town yesterday, so I should catch up quickly.

Oh, and I hate daylight savings…

  20. Jen P Says:

*Jen drags herself out of Sven’s workout room*

Wow… What a weekend! Yesterday I thought up a new story and wrote 4000 words in it, which is an enormous record for me (yes, I am a beginner, don’t laugh). Since I’m just doing revisions aside from the new story, my word count still isn’t very high for the challenge: 4644. And I *love* the new story. :-)

  21. Jerri Says:

Since I started sweating I’ve written 9,432 words. I was upset this morning because while I was writing, I got an error in my word document and lost about 200 words. I thought I’d lost everything–thank God I hadn’t since today was a real struggle for me.

  22. Amy Ruttan Says:

Well I started Sven with a word count of 18,000 in book 1 that I wanted to complete. I finished that on Friday with a total word count of 57,413 words. So I’ve written approximately 39,000 words since starting Sven :D

On to book two now. Which I hope to get up to 80,000 words. We hope. I hope I just haven’t burned myself out.

  23. Sue Says:

I was doing great - until I came down with the flu. For the past 3 days I haven’t been doing much of anything. I feel like I’m finally turning the corner today, though. Hopefully I can add to that word count. Since the start of sven I’ve wrtten ~9,000 words.

  24. Trace Says:

I’m up to 7451 words so far. I’m a bit disappointed that I haven’t managed to write every day, but really pleased with myself overall cos I’m still here plugging away, unlike last time when I don’t think I made it to the first check-in, lol :)

  25. catie Says:

Struggling so far (only 1,056) but I haven’t started today’s session and I’ve got a plan for getting back on track this week. Overall, I’m feeling up-beat.

  26. Kim Knox Says:

I struggled to get 2200 written on a wip I have come to loathe, lol

So Thursday I gave in and started to write the Nocturne Bite I already had 1800 on…and it finished the day at 6k! I wrote up a storm, yay. It’s now at about 8k as I had family stuff this weekend and wrote about 200 words (if that).

Hopefully it will be finished, and possibly subbed next week.

    Kim

  27. Lisa Hendrix Says:

The zone escapes me, but I am unbowed. I’m going to chalk this week up as the seven built in days and start anew.

  28. Terra Kent Says:

I got 3,247 for this week. But my sons also had a karate tournament this weekend so.

  29. Xidu Says:

Well, the romantic birthday getaway I’d planned for OH turned into a disaster as the sniffle she’d been incubating turned into the Cold From Hell. The holiday lasted about 20 hours before we had to go home. I’ve been nursing her since then so I managed another, er, 16 words. Hopefully I can get into the swing of things again this week!

Amy Ruttan - I think I hate you LOL how the hell do you write so fast???? Please share your secret!!! :)

  30. Erin Kendall Says:

5,867 as of yesterday! Haven’t done my writing for today, so we’ll see. My WC is good considering it’s all by dictation. I would like to pick up the pace more, though.

    Cheers,
    EK

  31. Patty L. Says:

I have 8767 for the week (not including today). I am happy with my progress. I have managed to sit down nightly to write and this is a huge accomplishment for me, since finding time is always my problem.

Thank you Sven for your help. Without your motivation I would be -8767 words short on my wip.

  32. Gwen Mitchell Says:

It’s going great! Staying off the internet has been a huge help. *g* But I’m at 20.7K drafted since I started the challenge, and am now ~officially~ ahead of schedule. Sven does a writer good!! =P

  33. Stephanie Staton Says:

I am so far behind. Life got in my way this past week. I plan to change that or at least try. *fingers crossed*

  34. Lousa Says:

Struggling to maintain my momentum? How about struggling to maintain my sanity? Yes, far behind, but still thinking about the book, even when real life is not letting me get at the book. Probably less than 1500 words since Wednesday. Back to it tomorrow.

  35. Cynthia Justlin Says:

As of today, my total word count is 11,046 (not including today–I’m off to write in a moment). I didn’t write Friday or Saturday, due to family “stuff” that got in the way, but I’m still extremely pleased with my progress so far. I’m learning to write consistently, which is something I’ve never thought I could do.

  36. Beth Wodzinski Says:

well, my word counts have been far from admirable–only 1500 new words or so total.

But trying to get myself to sit down and do the work made me realize that I really didn’t want to write the rest of the novel–it didn’t interest me. So I redid about a quarter of the outline so that it’s stuff I’m excited about, trimmed one plot line down to a quarter of its size, and cut another altogether–so now I have another 35k or so to do, instead of the 70k or more I was planning, and it’s stuff that I really want to write.

So I am counting this as a raving success, even if my word count is low. And now I’m planning on finishing that 35k this month (or possibly a few days into next month), and getting to work on some editing.

Is nice to feel enthusiastic about the work again!

Glad to see so many other people making such great progress.

  37. Shiloh Walker Says:

I am doing it, but out of all you writers, not one has written non-fiction?!
Now I’m feeling super lonely. I should hire an ATTY? No advice here? Seriously? I feel I have a hot as H story here. I’m sweating here. I want writer’s advice, not attys., let my publisher deal with attys., isn’t that how it works? Somebody, throw me some water!

Diane, unfortunately that isn’t how it works. I’m not versed in non-fiction, but writing is writing. If there’s some sort of legal issue that could come into play, the writer needs to protect herself. If your book gets published, it’s your name on the cover, not the publishers.

I’m sorry you don’t seem to be getting as much from this as you’d hoped, but mostly the 70 days challenge is about encouragement and that sort of thing.

When it comes to matters of legalities, most of us aren’t lawyers and we can’t help when it comes to whether or whether not you could be sued.

I’m sorry, but that’s the best I can offer.

  38. Shiloh Walker Says:

I’ve gotten about 5k since Wednesday. Definitely not where I wanted to be but Mother Nature threw a snow storm at us and my kids don’t seem to want to let me focus the way I wanted to.

;) But I’m not done for the day.

    Keep it up, folks!

  39. Sandy l Says:

My word count is 8,689 so far. I am doing much better than I did last time. The trick is to make sure I write every day and not look back at what I’ve written.

  40. Cynthia Eden Says:

Checking in…a bit of a disappointing start for me. I wrote two chapters (about 50 pages) but then had to complete copy-edits. The edits are finished now, and I’m going to complete a separate proposal then get right back on track.

  41. B.L. Foxxe Says:

Well as far as the original titles I’d listed? Zip. However for other novels, or shorts that were rejected, I’m rewriting those and have come up with at least 40k of the short stories and edit work combined. Still not finished with the rewrites and roughing, but should have something accomplished when the end comes :)

  42. Paula Robinson Says:

Hi, I just started with Sven yesterday (plotmonkey “challenge” invite), so I don’t have that much done yet…still trying to flesh out my ideas…I am a newbie at this so forgive me…once I get going with writing, I can usually go for hours…I hope to finalize my ideas by tomorrow or Tuesday…I will let you all know how it is going on Wednesday…

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

  43. Sarai Says:

Thanks to a bout of flu going around at my office I was able to take 2 days off and this whole weekend for writing and have cranked out 25,000 that’s right. However, I have hit a snag and need to go back and see where the hell the plot went so I am sure that number will either drop significantly or increase. (I’m betting it will drop) but I am feeling damn good about it. I averaged 500 to 1,000 words a hour so Whew!
Oh and I finally figured out the voices of MC and Secondary character. Only need to figure out 3 more!!!
    Good luck!

  44. Trisha P Says:

Struggling to get my daily word count but still keepin’ on!

  45. Zoe Says:

I’m doing well so far. I’ve got almost 23,000 words written, and have hit or exceeded my daily quota of 2000 words every day but today (I almost got there today, but was fending off a panic attack so didn’t quite make it). For the first few days I was really liking the story; then I started feeling like the whole thing was horrible. But I’ve been in those phases before; I know it will start looking good again eventually.

  46. Jennette Says:

I just hit 12k, which is right where I wanted to be. Wasn’t sure I’d make it when DH decided to have some friends over Friday night and I didn’t get my 1,000 words in, but I managed to make them up today. This challenge is awesome - I don’t think I’ve ever written 3,000 words in one day before!

  47. Diane J Standiford Says:

Thank you, Larissa. Uh, yeah, I know you writers are not attys, I thought maybe one of you had publshed a non-fiction book, I see that is not the case. Auria Cortes gave me great advice and support. I, with MS and one finger, have written over11,000 words so far. I’m taking this challenge seriously.

  48. mary beth Says:

6000 words. Not as good as I hoped, but better than 0. :-(

  49. Maria Says:

As of a few minutes ago, I’ve completed 15000+ words since the beginning of Sven. So far I haven’t had a problem hitting my 1500/day goal. Most days I even beat it!

  50. Lillian Feisty Says:

I started late, so I’m a bit behind. I’ve written about 4500 words this week so far. I’m hoping to make it to 5000 by the end of the day. We’ll see.

  51. Greta Says:

Okay I said I was only in this for fun to see what could happend. I started off slow 200 words the first day, 600 the second day, then only about 150 until Thursday when I hit 1000 for the first time, 1000 on Friday, yesterday and today. I’m having good days and bad days.

  52. Shayla Kersten Says:

Well, not much in the word count department since Wednesday. Actually, I’ve lost words! *cackle*

I finished edits on my EC novella, Longing For Eternity, on Thursday and received another round from my editor early this morning. I just emailed this round back to her. *crosses fingers* Usually my edits are minimal but LFE is the third in a series and I’m having trouble balancing necessary backstory for new readers.

Friday and Saturday I worked on self-edits and comments from my CP on a new manuscript. This is where I lost a lot of words. I hope to finish it tonight. I’m almost there. A little tweaking for overuse of a couple of words. Then it’s off to EC as well. *crosses toes*

I hope everyone has been more productive!

    Shayla

  53. Lillian Feisty Says:

    Yay! I hit 5100!

  54. Kate Scott Says:

I did horribly this week due to a crazy work schedule. But I’m hoping this next week will be better!

  55. Christine d'Abo Says:

Well I didn’t do too badly considering I only started on Monday. I managed 5,861 words, and think I’m starting to hit my stride with this story. I’m going to try and ramp things up more this week.

    Fingers crossed.

  56. Diana Pharaoh Francis Says:

I missed my Friday’s daily target, but hit my weekly target. I’m now planning and plotting next week’s writing. I started very quickly, but then it became more of a struggle. I’m going to hit my counts this week, come hell or high water and the creek don’t rise. I was about 320 words short on Friday.

  57. Lori Says:

Doing great. After some critique, I edited the first five chapters and am re-plotting the next two chapters. I’m very excited about where the story is going!

  58. Gina Marina Says:

ms sent to CP and first chapter up on blog. That’s it. Behind in this, behind in school….

  59. Michelle (MG) Says:

Not doing so well and have been out every night with some obligation or another. This week it’s a must before MIL arrives!

  60. Barbara Burnham Says:

5,000 words since March 1. That’s about 2 pages/day. I hope to increase to more pages this week.

    Keep writing everyone!

    Barbara

  61. Brandi Bradley Says:

I really meant to hit 9,000 today, but I only made 8,000. Wish me luck for next week.
    B.

  62. Nicole Gestalt Says:

Well I’ve done a rough count of the words I’ve done this week. I’ve been switching between two projects one that’s on the computer and the other that is being hand written for the moment. My rough count comes to 6,500 since the start, that is however a lower estimate so it might be pushing 7,000.

I’m not expecting to do so well next week since I’m working backstage at a play so things are going to be pretty hectic. However I’ll be happy if I write even a small bit each day.

  63. Leah Says:

I got another 2 pgs in, which is kind of pathetic, but at least I’m plodding along…. DH is on call for another 48 hrs, and I volunteered to chair the school book fair this week, so my days are gonna be shot. Oh, man, 3 of my nights are, too! But I’ll try to get some sweating in!

  64. Yvonne Y Says:

I am struggling. I managed to work on the book Monday-Friday then fell apart this weekend. But I’m back up on it tomorrow!!! And I feel really good about getting the work in during the week which is usually the hardest thing for me to do.

  65. Pat Rosen Says:

I started yesterday, one week after everyone else. (I was bogged down revising an earlier manuscript.) In two days, I’ve done a little over 2,000 words. I’m at the beginning of a story, so it’s slow going, but I’m glad to be part of this challenge. Sven’s tough.

  66. Renee Sweet Says:

I’m still not quite into my “groove” yet, but I’m keeping my head above water. If I don’t count the two days I missed in the beginning starting late, I’m on track with 6,175 words for the week. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll make up my word count for those days or just chalk them up to 2 of my 7 days off.

I’m definitely sweating but I’m loving every drop. :) Congrats to everyone else who’s participating on their progress!

  67. Nayad Monroe Says:

I’m at 9,000 words now, and still planning to write for a little while longer tonight. It’s been helping to post a daily progress report in my LiveJournal, so that I feel like my commitment to the task is on public display. Also, I know that I’m going to have to use six of my built-in days off for a trip that starts in a week and a half, so I have very little wiggle room–I’m trying to throw in some extra words when I can, but if I at least stick to my minimum of 1,000/day I’ll be all right.

  68. Kathleen Says:

Topped my weekly goal with 7213 At 38667 total for the manuscript.

  69. Lynn Says:

Nothing today, and I’m not even sure of a word count right now but I’ve been writing. Back to it tomorrow.

  70. Joely Says:

I’m running behind (4456 words) but I had two releases this weekend to prepare, so whatever I got, I’m grateful! The rest of March will hopefully settle down a little.

  71. MJ Fierstein Says:

A rough start for me but I am not giving up. I have been doing some brainstorming and organizing on my story so to me any progress is still progress.

  72. B.L. Foxxe Says:

Well considering I slacked off on one of the original titles, I managed to start working on it yesterday and today, yay! I think I’m finished with it, but will go over with a fine toothed comb. I’m at 23k and probably thought it would hit 30 or 40k I dunno. I like it as is, and I’m picky! So yeah, I think total word count for works completed has hit 50k by now. *shrugs*

Martira’s Liege (Original title: Feral Royalty of the Sea) - completed at 33k+, edited, and sent off to a contest.
Some shorts coming in at approximately 10-12k, there was another one with 40k or so…which means I’ve done good :)

  73. Melissa Blue Says:

Well, I edited three chapters on the book with my editor adding 1k words.
Also on my WIP I wrote 1,690 words for the week. Since I wasn’t being anal about my word count I have to retract my first comment about having 9k.

I really (now) have 7,789. My new goal is to get to 80k words, which means I have 72, 211 more words. So…1200 words a day for me to meet my goal. Okay, now I’m officially ready for Sven.

  74. Rachel C Says:

Oops, checking in late, almost forgot. Haven’t started writing today yet (Monday here already) but Sunday I did 1,235 and plus the 1,254 from Thursday and I’ve done 2,489 since last check in. Total for Sven so far 4,292. Not too shabby when it’s only been in 3 sessons of writing.
Well back to getting this weeks total up there.
Hope everyone reaches their goals this week.

  75. Rebecca Airies Says:

I’ve been able to write more than my goal for this week. Over 11k over the last 7 days and nearly 15k since the beginning. I can see the end of one of the WIP I’m working on and will probably work on it through the next week until I finish it.

  76. Amanda Carrell Says:

I’m checking in about an hour late. Oops. I’m stuck in bed with my back out, so I’m definitely not as productive as I could be. I’ve written 6382 words since I started Sven. But I think this story is going on the shelf and I’m moving to the next one. I’m so not feeling my characters or something. Something’s definitely wrong. So, yes. Giving up on this one and moving on.

Maybe I’ll manage more words next week. Silly back!

  77. Darillian (J. Carter) Says:

Not so good since Wednesday. Kids are sick, all four have strep, complete with rash on two, ear infections on two, and throat on all. One with rash has impetigo infection in it. But, with the antibiotics, whty are thankfully getting better quickly, so hopefully will be not so needy later this week.

Since Wednesday, have 1320 words, 880 of which were today. On the up side, while not many words were written, there were some words every day, instead of completely blowing off a day. So I take this as good.

For the week, since I started on Monday, total is: 3533
Total for this work so far: 15016 words

  78. B.L. Foxxe Says:

Checking in one last time before heading to bed. Have an early and busy morning ahead of me.

So far, I’ve officially gotten Four titles Finished for a series:
    Almighty Interference Bites
    Silkweaver’s Desperation
    Martira’s Liege
Silkweaver’s Burns - just checked and ended with 25,786k Yippee.
    Now to finish with:
    Silkweaver’s Never Ending Journey
Frozen Fate and whatever else I can come up with. Cheers!

  79. bettie Says:

4300 words on my WIP, query and synopsis since Wednesday. Yay! I’m back on track. I also did some revisions and cut a few hundred words. But it’s all progress. :D

  80. Amanda Says:

My brain is on writing even if I’m not. I haven’t written any new words since Wednesday. I need to work on being able to write when I’m sick.

  81. Sandie Says:

I’m running late with my check-in, better late then never as thet say. I’ve has a slow end to the week, just 3,235 words. I have done a bit more research, so I’m getting there slowly.

On to the second week, may the word fairy smile upon us all. Good luck everyone.

  82. Merry Says:

No new words this weekend, I did some reading around the craft instead (thank you Alison: the CIG to writing Erotic Romance came in handy!) and got some good ideas for dealing with a couple of areas that I wasn’t that happy with in 3’s Company. So, it was time well spent as I can incorporate the new ideas into the first edit and they will, hopefully, make it a better story. :D

More new words will be written today - the time consuming thing will be typing it up. (I can’t wait for the day when I can afford a laptop - and not have to spend the money on the car/ balancing the bank account etc…) :(

  83. Jean T. Says:

In the 2,700+ words I wrote this last week my story managed to work itself into a corner. A friend found the problem yesterday, and though I had to cut over 1,000 words the writing is going much better now. At least I’m writing every day now, and that counts more then the words. :)

  84. Merry Says:

Forgot to say: the half week went well!
Wrote 2,680 new words for the 1/2 week. 5,532 total for Sven so far + 793 words typed up of already written material, editing as I go.

Is there a prize for the lowest word count? I wrote 1800…total. I’m having trouble getting started.

  86. deniz Says:

oooh yes! keeping up with my goals to the letter - complete overhaul of Chapter 16 planned for today…

  87. Laya D. White Says:

I’ve been feeling blocked this week, so I haven’t written as much as I would have liked. It’s not so much that I don’t know what to write, as that I’ve felt burned out and completely devoid of energy. I think I’ve sufficiently recovered, so I have plans to catch up this week. Wish me luck!

  88. Nina Says:

It’s Monday. Sheesh. Can’t even get over here to keep up. Okay, so last week with the new words… not so much. 1200. Ouch. But it’s okay. I did lots of editing and some spring cleaning of files that needed to be done for me to feel settled enough to write.

On track this week… I hope.

  89. Kerry Allen Says:

Slow start with 3250 words. I have my beginning, and I wrote a bit of the ending and a bit of several points between to give me a primitive map to my destination. Still plenty of room for wrong turns and aimless wandering, but that can be cut out in edits to make it look like I knew where I was going all along. :D

  90. Ella Drake Says:

Yesterday was a wash, so posting this on Monday. Slow week, but at least I got some done. 2900 since last check in. I expect my Wed. postings to have more success since my two whole days of writing are Tue and Wed.
    See ya Wed.

  91. Lonnie Says:

I had a goal of 1,000 words per day, and I’m averaging 1,500. I’m on a roll and it feels so darn good! Back to writing.

  92. Kristi Says:

I’m doing well this time around … and closing in on the 10,000 word mark. Yay!!!

  93. Dawn Montgomery Says:

Close to 9K. I don’t know how I did it. I really don’t, but I came it a 8.9K. This week will be my time off as I’ve got a hell week at the day job. I’ll see you on Wednesday!

  94. Diane J Standiford Says:

12,191 words so far. What happens after 70 days? Nanny Diaries didn’t get an pre-approval from anyone. This is MY life, MY story, MY experience.
Did Bernstein and Woodward ask for permission? I don’t think Nixon would have given it..

  95. Diane J Standiford Says:

Over 12,000 words with one finger—why isn’t my name on the challengers list? No WIP, no co-author, YOU’RE GOING DOWN!

    Where’s my love, Sven?

  96. Lorelie Says:

Realized yesterday that not only did I forget about Sven entirely, when I originally signed up I commented but something went wrong with the Mr. Linky (probably me forgetting to fill it out) and I’m not on it.

But I’m in now, at about 1k. Guess I’m gonna have to write through Nationals.
