From C.S. Lewis
“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.”

This is *great*!
I’m always driving myself crazy because I can’t think of any dazzling new story concepts that nobody’s done before. I should just concentrate on telling the stories that I feel drawn to, and trust that my own interpretation will bring something new to them.
