    Revising like a sun of a gun — I slowed down over the holidays, but I’ve revised 6 chapters since last week (I missed Sunday’s check-in). I have five more chapters to go. Though I won’t be able to call the novel done (this is only a first-stage revision), I will be able to say I’ve made significant progress.

    Is it Wednesday? Well . . . I’m working on revisions and haven’t typed them in yet, so I have no clue how many words I’ve written. But I am writing which is always good.

    I’ve written 2.5k this week and I want to get back into the writing rhythm Sven started (December fell in to the pan, big time *sigh*) so I’m trying a 1000 words a day…eep

    1 single title written and revised and turned in.
    1 proposa written, revised and submitted
    Yesterday I started a novella that’s next on the To Do List

    I’m checking in after being gone for a couple of weeks! I’ve written approximately 3k this week so far. Feels good to be back into the groove…

    I have next week off so my plan is as follows:
    weekend: finish all research books that I’ve already started, consolidate notes, double check saved websites
    monday-wednesday: fill in blank/missing scenes
    thursday/friday: write ending
    saturday: choose names for all Xs
    sunday: rest!
    monday: print for editing

    AHHHH! This was my first holiday season as a married man, and it was insane because I can’t just sort of coast through them anymore.

    I’ve been pretty bad lately. I’ve sort of kept on track with the revising, but I could do much better.

    Still working on revisions. We finally got some snow here (very little but atleast it’s snow). So, I didn’t have to go to my other job. But instead of revising like I should be, I am curled up reading while trying to stay warm.

    The draft is finished as of 12/31, so revisions are in progress. I’ll work on the synopsis this week, and get my query letter spiffed up, then the agent search begins at the end of January. Yippee!

    Still writing. The same bloody MS. I did 4629 new, plus 1535 I wound up not using yet. Total for the challenge: 78535.

    A new week is off to a bang. I finished up the work in progress on Sunday with an astounding 3550 words written. Started a new project yesterday and clocked in 2K. Did 2 K worth of additions to a previous WIP today.

    That brings me up to 97 K for Sven. And counting. I really hoped to break 80-90K so I’m thrilled.

    Goodness, I haven’t checked in in a while!

    Well, I have definitely failed at 750 words every day.

    But! I finished the novel I was writing on December 24th, which I recall was my end-goal of this whole thing. So, I guess I still came out successful.

    I’ve been away for two weeks. It’s good to be back in a brand new year with new goals. I’ve had a story percolating in my brain and I’m ready to set it to paper. Happy New Year, Sven!

    got over the stomach flu only to catch a cold. SIgh. Slowing me down. Got 1851 done since the last time, bringing me to 91002 for a total

    Oops forgot to check in yesterday. Finally got back to writing yesterday after about a week off. Broke the block, I guess, bringing me to a total of 77417 out of 95000.

    Yikes, I meant to check in last night but I lost track of time! I’m revising still, nearly done and when that happens I’ll send it off to beta readers. Yay for Sven and making me work it!

    Well, I’m hanging in there, got another 2,000 words done. I have high hopes that I’ll finish my y/a, but if not I did at least do some serious writing over the past months.
