Diana Peterfreund writes the Secret Society Girl Series for Bantam Dell, and is currently at work on a YA novel about killer unicorns for Harper Children. She was raised in Florida, graduated from Yale, traveled through Australia and New Zealand, and now lives in Washington D.C. with her partner in crime, Sailor Boy. When Diana’s not writing, she spends an awful lot of time at the National Zoo watching endangered Brazilian monkeys. She also enjoys yoga, her Netflix subscription, working her way through her ginormous TBR pile, and talking about writing to anyone who will stand still for long enough.

HelenKay Dimon spent the last twelve years in the most unromantic career ever - divorce lawyer. After dedicating all that time and effort to helping people terminate relationships she is thrilled to write romance novels full time. Her debut novella appeared in the April 2006 Brava anthology release, WHEN GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO BAD BOYS with Lori Foster and Erin McCarthy. On shelves now is her first single title, YOUR MOUTH DRIVES ME CRAZY, which was chosen as a “Red-Hot Read” by Cosmopolitan magazine and is excerpted in its August 2007 issue. HelenKay is hard at work on her 2008 and 2009 releases for Kensington Brava.

Jaci Burton writes the Demon Hunter paranormal romance series for Bantam Dell, contemporary erotic romance for Berkley Heat, and various genres for Samhain Publishing. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband and five dogs, who both amuse her and drive her crazy. (Her dogs, that is, not her husband). She was born and raised in Missouri, spent many years in California, but loves wild windy Oklahoma now. When she’s not writing, Jaci can usually be found riding on the back of her husband’s Harley or catching up on the TBR pile which has grown mountainous since she became a writer.

Award winning author and screenwriter Jo Leigh started out in film and tv, but discovered the joy of novel writing and that was that. Since she sold her first romance novel in 1992, she’s written over 40 books, been a RITA finalist 3 times, and loves to teach what she knows about writing. Look for her next Blaze KIDNAPPED! coming to stores in September.

Larissa Ione an Air Force veteran, has been a meteorologist, an EMT, and a professional dog trainer, often all at the same time - yet she never gave up on her dream of writing fiction. In 2006, she got The Call, and she now writes for Warner Books, Red Sage, and Samhain under her own name, and for Bantam Dell as one half of the writing team known as Sydney Croft. In addition to writing fiction, she has been published in magazines such as Dog Fancy and The Canine Journal. She loves keeping busy and often has several projects on her plate at once…but she understands the importance of slowing down every once in a while and enjoying life with a good book, a fun movie, or family vacations with her Coast Guard husband and ten-year-old son.

Lauren Dane is a suburban mom with a salacious imagination that she’s put to good use with her writing. Her favorite thing is when people tell her that she doesn’t look like “someone who’d write those books.” She lives in the Northwest with three wild children and one patient husband. She writes everything from paranormals to contemporary BDSM books and develops terrible crushes on all of her heroes. Even though she lives in her head a lot, she does venture outside from time to time to collaborate with other authors, oh and to buy shoes too.

Portia Da Costa is a British author who’s best known for her ten erotic novels published by Black Lace, as well as sexy books for a number of other imprints. Funnily enough though, she’s always considered herself to be a romance author, even when she’s describing the wildest and most eye-popping kinkiness. She loves writing about real emotion and relationships, not just sex ‘plumbing’, and she always wants her characters to get their HEA. Nowadays, she’s happily penning erotic romance for publishers like Total-E-Bound and Phaze as well as writing more Black Laces. Portia lives in West Yorkshire in the north of England, with her husband and her three adorable cats. When not writing, reading or surfing the web, she can mostly be found watching the telly.

Stephanie Tyler has been a lifeguard, a bookstore manager, and a teacher for grades ranging from middle school to college while pursuing a PhD in English Literature, all while trying to convince herself that she would come back to her dream of writing as a career eventually. When her daughter was born in 2001 and encountered many medical problems, Stephanie found inspiration in the fighter her child proved to be - and found her own way back to writing. Today, Stephanie writes what she loves to read – romance with military heroes and happy endings. She has long since given up trying to control her characters, especially the Navy SEAL alpha males, and she writes for Harlequin Blaze and Bantam Dell under her own name. She’s also half the writing team of Sydney Croft. She lives in New York with her husband and her daughter and spends most days in pajamas happily writing her next book.

Shiloh Walker has been writing since she was a kid. She fell in love with vampires with the book Bunnicula and has worked her way up to the more…ah…serious vampire stories. She loves reading and writing anything paranormal, anything fantasy, and nearly every kind of romance. Once upon a time she worked as a nurse, but now she writes full time and lives with her family in the Midwest.
